Rodrigo Pascual (PUC-Chile)

Rodrigo Pascual received his doctorate in Applied Sciences from Université de Liege, Belgium (1999). He is Chair and Associate Professor in the Mining Engineering Department at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), in Santiago. He is also the Director of the Physical Asset Management Laboratory at PUC. His research interests focus on physical asset management, production assurance, decision support systems, reliability, and engineering education. His current research is sponsored by the Chilean National Council for Science and Technology (CONICYT).

Enrique López Droguett (UFPE)

Conducts research on methods for probabilistic risk analysis and reliability of complex systems, uncertainty analysis, Bayesian methods, optimization, and Prognostics and System Health Management. He has led many major studies on risk and reliability of complex systems in oil & gas exploration and production. Professor Droguett has over 120 papers in archival journals and proceedings of conferences and 2 books in various areas of risk and reliability engineering.

Isis Didier Lins (UFPE)

Isis Didier Lins has Bachelor’s (2007), Master’s (2010) and Doctor’s (2013) degrees in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). She is Assistant Professor of the Production Engineering Department of UFPE and is a researcher of the Center for Risk Analysis and Environmental Modeling (CEERMAUFPE). Her main research interests are production engineering, operational research, reliability and maintenance of production systems, metaheuristics.

Cristiano Alexandre Cavalcante (UFPE)

Cristiano Cavalcante is lecturer in Operational Research and Logistics at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), at the Management engineering department. He obtained his Ph.D in 2005 from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco for work on Multicriteria Decision Models to Support Maintenance Problems. He has published more than 20 articles on multicriteria decision models, maintenance and Reliability modeling in Reliability Engineering and System Safety, European Journal of Operational Research, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, International Journal of Production Economics, IMA Journal of Management Mathematics, Journal of Quality in Maintenance Engineering, Mathematical Problems in Engineering, International Journal, Advanced Manufacturing Technology and others. His research interests include optimal maintenance, maintenance policies, and Multi-Criteria Decision Support. Dr Cavalcante is a Member of the INFORMS and IEEE society. Also, He is the leader of RANDOM (Research Group on Risk and Decision Analysis in Operations and Maintenance) and belongs to CDSID (Center for Decision Systems and Information Development).
